CattleWoman of the Year:
This award is presented to the OCW member who has worked tirelessly to achieve the goals and endeavors of the CattleWomen, as directed by the President and the membership. Her valuable contributions have been an essential part of our efforts that help to inform others, educate, and raise awareness about the beef industry. This recipient has shown ongoing initiative, leadership, and dedication, and she has devoted herself to sustained and selfless voluntary service.(They must be an OCW member, either has cattle or not.)
Industry Professional of the Year:
Is awarded to a person or business, in recognition of their service in the ranching community, who has gone above and beyond to assist and aid our ranching industry. Award for the Industry Professional of the Year award is given to a business or person who has contributed their resources and professional expertise in support of our ranching communities through philanthropic giving and or professional volunteer time. The Industry Professional of the Year award is a recognition of the generosity that is bestowed upon the CattleWomen and Cattlemen’s Associations. Without the generosity of such institutions, our associations would not be as successful as they are. (They may or may not be an OCW member.)
Heritage Award:
The Heritage Award recognizes a lifetime of achievement. Its purpose is to call attention to an individual who has served our industry, promoted the ranching way of life, and/or has lived their lifetime in agriculture. She has a legacy that will leave a long-lasting impact that will positively influence and inspire others for generations to come. It is a moment to acknowledge a lifetime rich in history. (They should have been or are an OCW member.
